John Aronson
John Aronson is the president and founder of AATA International. He is Responsible for technical, administrative, and financial management of an environmental consulting firm, specializing in environmental management and permitting. Comprehensive project management duties for mining, oil and gas, utility, manufacturing, government, and other clients. Technical areas of expertise include limnology and aquatic ecology, fisheries, phycology, environmental impact and risk assessment, water quality, eutrophication and watershed management and water quality modeling. Mr. Aronson has served as Program Manager and Principal Water Quality Consultant to a wide variety of domestic and international clients over the past 26 years. Mr. Aronson serves as Principal in Charge for large, comprehensive environmental management and permitting programs in the U.S. and in many foreign countries. He is involved in a wide variety of environmental permitting, regulatory, and policy related issues at the local, state, federal, and international levels. Mr. Aronson is considered one of the world’s leading water quality consultants. 
Ethan Brown
Ethan Brown grew up in Maine. His undergraduate education culminated in an interdisciplinary degree in Chemistry and Geology from the University of Maine at Farmington. He then moved to Fort Collins Colorado to complete a master’s degree from Colorado State University in Watershed Science. His thesis was on sediment production from forest roads in the Upper South Platte Watershed Colorado, and the effect of mechanical thinning on sediment production and soil moisture in ponderosa pine forests of the Upper South Platte Watershed Colorado. His current interests are centered on the effects of mining on water quality. Hobbies include skiing and climbing. 
Kait Brovsky
Kait Brovsky grew up in Denver. She received a B.A. from Scripps college in Claremont, California. She specialized in Russia and International Relations. Spent a semester in St. Petersburg, Russia studying Russian culture and language. Her current interest are extensive reading, meeting with friends, swimming, and checking out new Italian restaurants. 
Duncan Eccelston
Duncan Eccleston graduated with a B.A. in environmental history from Middlebury College in 1995. As an outdoor educator, he taught for Outward Bound, Prescott College, and many other schools and organizations throughout the United States and Latin America. After a stint as the director of a watershed conservation association, he returned to Colorado State University for an M.S. in Watershed Science with a focus on post-fire channel change. Hobbies include, telemark skiing, fly-fishing, and whitewater kayaking. 
Carmia Fiechtner
Carmia Fiechtner graduated from CSU with a B.S. in Watershed Scicne. She has four years of experience in environmental science, with a specialization in hydrology. She has technical expertise in surface and ground water-quality sampling, analysis, and interpretation as well as water-right data collection, analysis and interpretation. In the government sector, she worked with the Water Rights Branch of the U.S. National Park Service to adjudicate water rights and with the Colorado Resources Division of the U.S. Geological Survey to research the effect of applying biosolids to land. In the private sector, she has gained valuable experience with federal and state mine permit applications and knowledge of federal and state rules, regulations, and guidelines. Hobbies include, traveling, skiing, or kayaking, depending on the season.
Rini Kirkpatrick
Rini Kirkpatrick is from Indonesia and studied in the United States. She has a BS degree in Aquatic Biology and an MA in Marine Science. Rini has worked on permitting domestic and international oil and gas, mining, and power projects. She managed three geothermal power projects in Indonesia, and has been involved in many international projects that were permitted to World Bank standards. She is an Environmental Impact Analysis specialist and is currently the Environmental Task Manager at AATA. She has been involved in projects in Indonesia, Russia and the FSU, Kazakhstan, Venezuela, Peru, and Mongolia. Rini is always ready to try out new dishes.
Heidi Netter
Heidi earned a B.S. degree in Watershed Science from Colorado State University. She has conducted water resource analyses under three appointments, before coming to work with AATA. She worked with wetland restoration, environmental education, and stream quality and quantity for the Teton Science School in Jackson, WY. She has worked on two National Forests developing water supply manuals for campgrounds and assessing landscape-scale soil and stream health in previously harvested areas. Some of her favorite hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, biking, dogs, and painting. 
Christina Nimmo
Christina Nimmo received a B.A and M.A in history from Colorado State University. She taught in China and Japan and has over ten years of experience in the technical field, including, two years working for a large software company in Manhattan, a database company in Minnesota and three years as an instructor for web-based course instruction at Colorado State University. Her hobbies include cooking, music, hiking and traveling. 
Viktor Raykin
Viktor Raykin has been the FSU Program Manager for AATA and responsible for management of multidisciplinary environmental programs in Russia , Kazakhstan, and the Former Soviet Union. He has been the manager of domestic and international environmental due diligence assessments, environmental impact statements, technical environmental baseline studies, environmental monitoring programs, and comprehensive environmental management programs. Specialist in coordination and management of “Expertiza” environmental permitting process for large-scale natural resource development projects. Hydrogeologic monitoring, modeling, and analysis are primary technical specialties. 
Dana Spanjer
Ping Wang
Dr. Ping Wang is the Senior Program Manager and Chief Geologist for AATA. Dr. Ping Wang received his Ph.D. in Geology from Virginia Polytechnic and State University (Virginia Tech). Dr. Wang has been working at AATA since 1994 and has been involved in most of AATA’s international and domestic projects. As a project manager and/or chief technical staff, Dr. Wang has been working on projects in China, Mongolia, Indonesia, Honduras, Venezuela, Bolivia, Brazil, Russia and Former Soviet States, as well as domestic projects such as Betze Seeps and Springs (Nevada), Platte River Power (Nebraska), Salt Creek (Wyoming), Tar Creek Superfund (Oklahoma) and, Great Divide Basin (Wyoming). Dr. Wang designed and programmed the AATA Enviro-Informatics, a web-based environmental management system. In his spare time, Ping plays hockey and enjoy watching Chinese historical TV series, as well as Hollywood action / comedy movies.
