AATA participates in Prospectors' and Developers' Association of Canada (PDAC) Meeting, Toronto, Canada

March 5-8, 2017  - The atmosphere was upbeat this year at the 2017 PDAC meeting, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  John G. Aronson, President, and Dr. Ping Wang, Vice President interacted with clients, consultants, colleagues, and participants from the USA and throughout the world.  Exhibits, presentations, and hospitality suites did not disappoint as the meeting attracted thousands.  AATA participated in meetings and presentations from Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Argentina, Mongolia, Mexico, Scandinavia, Greenland, Nicaragua, Brazil, Africa, and LATAM in general.   It was great to catch up with clients from around the world at this important meeting!  See www.pdac.ca for more info, and to prepare for a productive year ahead!  

CLA 2016 Meeting on Latin American Arbitration

John Aronson will attend the CLA 2016 Meeting on Latin American Arbitration in Miami this coming week.  AATA International, Inc. is one of the leading environmental and social technical consultancies providing support to legal firms, corporations, governments, and other arbitration entities around the globe, with extensive experience throughout Latin America.  AATA served as principal environmental consultant to White and Case for Gold Reserve Corp. in the successful World Bank ICSID Arbitration for the Las Brisas Copper/Gold Project, Venezuela, where ICSID awarded US$745MM to Gold Reserve.

Mining and Communities Solutions 2016

AATA International, Inc. sponsored and participated in the inaugural Mining and Communities Solutions 2016 Conference held at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC.  AATA was a Bronze Sponsor of this landmark event organized by InfoMine.  See http://www.mining.solutions/miningandcommunities/ for more details.
John Aronson, President, participated in the two day conference, meeting many clients, social practitioners, and other participants.  Topics included a broad range of important community concerns, through all phases of the mining life cycle, from initial exploration through development, operation, and including closure.  AATA was proud to be a sponsor of this important event.

OEDIT Supports AATA International, Inc.

AATA International, Inc. won a grant from the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade to attend the huge Asian International Mining Expo in Sydney, Australia. The grant provided funds to offset some of the travel expenses.  AATA represented Colorado with its international environmental and social management, permitting, and technical services.  Meetings were held with project exhibitors, attendees, foreign country representatives, the US Dept of Commerce, and various Australian and international equipment companies.  AIMEX was held in the Sydney Olympic Park, site of the 2000 Summer Olympics.  A briefing will be held by OEDIT on October 8th in Denver.
