AATA International, Inc. was represented by Mr. W. Wayne Forman, Manager, Mining, AATA Senior Technical Advisory Resource (STAR) Group at the Annual Meeting of the American Exploration and Mining Association (AEMA), Reno, Nevada, early December, 2018. Wayne was able to attend many of the concurrent sessions, and met with many existing and potential clients at the meetings. AATA has participated in the AEMA and its previous iterations as Northwest Mining Association for over 25 years.
AATA International, Inc. participated in the Annual Meeting of the North American Lake Management Society, which was held in Denver this year. John G. Aronson, President and Principal Limnologist attended various of the technical sessions, and the internal phosphorus loading workshop (Dr. Gertrud Nurnberg). Several of the historical water quality management initiatives for lakes and reservoirs of the Front Range and Western USA where AATA has been active over the years were discussed.

John Aronson will attend the CLA 2016 Meeting on Latin American Arbitration in Miami this coming week. Topics included a broad range of important community concerns, through all phases of the mining life cycle, from initial exploration through development, operation, and including closure. AATA was proud to be a sponsor of this important event.
AATA International, Inc. won a grant from the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade to attend the huge Asian International Mining Expo in Sydney, Australia. The grant provided funds to offset some of the travel expenses. AATA represented Colorado with its international environmental and social management, permitting, and technical services. Meetings were held with project exhibitors, attendees, foreign country representatives, the US Dept of Commerce, and various Australian and international equipment companies. AIMEX was held in the Sydney Olympic Park, site of the 2000 Summer Olympics. A briefing will be held by OEDIT on October 8th in Denver.
